This 17,955-sf office and shop facility was constructed by Anchor Construction in California, at the owner’s transfer station property. This project features a multi-bay shop for route truck repair and servicing, along with a large office space, break room, and locker rooms. The project had an accelerated timeline in order to comply with the owner’s contract requirements with the municipality. The first phase of the project included a demo of existing buildings, along with the installation of new scales and drives to the property.
A unique feature of this project was the construction of an EV lot for the storage and charging of electric route trucks as part of the client’s sustainability initiatives.
