This landfill maintenance facility and scale house are on an active landfill site footprint. The facility was required to remain operational while the construction was taking place. Anchor improved traffic routing and queuing for the landfill operations measurably.
The location is situated on a flood plain and required coordination with FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers to gain development plan approval. Extensive soil stabilization was required for the long-term viability of the building and site.
