Anchor completed this 133,000 SF warehouse addition on a client’s existing building complex in Edwardsville, KS, in 2019. The building features concrete tilt-wall construction, with an additional four dock doors and an 8,400 SF repair and service area, with a mezzanine overhead for storage. This building expansion included an expandable end wall for future expansion capability.
A unique challenge on this site was coordinating with state and local authorities on construction in a floodplain area. Additionally, agreements were made with the local municipality to construct a public walking path around the site, with views of the Kansas River. Anchor managed each of these processes on behalf of the client.
