In 2014, Anchor Construction designed and built a 56,250 SF facility in Elkhart, IN. The planning for this site involved vacating a city street, relocating utilities, and engineering with several feet of elevation change across the site. The facility was constructed as a shipping and office facility with a second-floor break room and assembly room complete with full A/V connections. This facility was designed with a forklift ramp connecting it to an adjacent facility. The ramp and sidewalk were constructed with a glycol heating system for winter conditions. A closed-down cleaning business formerly occupied this site. This facility significantly improved the beauty of the neighborhood and provided jobs close to home.
