Anchor Construction was nearing the completion of a roughly 100,000-sf project when the client requested an additional facility on-site similar to an 81,000-sf powder coating facility we built in 2017. Our design team worked with the customer to consider workflow economy and devised a plan to connect the recently completed building to the existing powder coat plant with a 46,250-sf connector building. Anchor worked with the equipment providers and the customer to facilitate the unique needs, particularly concerning equipment pits, plumbing, and mechanical requirements. The product now flows efficiently on the campus from laser cutting to welding to finishing to assembly.
