This two-story office area is part of a larger building that sits on a 34-acre building site and includes a 15,000 SF mezzanine area. A massive 240,000 SF truck court serves 22 truck docks to support distribution and shipping activities. This project features tilt-wall construction with fiber-reinforced and insulated concrete walls. The entire building is heated and cooled for year-round comfort. Site soil was primarily gumbo clay and required significant lime soil stabilization to ensure long-term foundation and building integrity.
Some of the key features of the office area include an exposed ceiling deck, architectural lighting layouts, a fully equipped break room, multiple restrooms, sound deadening drywall, insulated intermediate walls for soundproofing, glass office, and conference room walls, and large windows for exterior light.
