In the spring of 2017, several Anchor Construction employees accompanied a local Indiana church on a service mission trip to Cap-Haitien, Haiti. The goal of the trip was to construct a basketball court at the Kids Alive orphanage and school, as well as work on construction of the new school building. Over the course of a week, the basketball court was built with a great team effort of the service trip volunteers as well as members of the local community. Several nurses were part of the team and over the course of the week, they conducted medical checkups for both students and teachers. Anchor Construction was humbled to be able support this trip and has founded a relationship with Kids Alive and the people of Haiti that will continue for years to come.
