Anchor Construction Breaks Ground on 20-Million Dollar Project

Anchor Construction has partnered with CHT USA, a Michigan-based silicone polymer company, to build a 20-million dollar expansion for their growing business. Projected to be completed in 2024, this major development will have a significant impact on the rural Cass County economy, bringing new jobs and opportunities to locals.

CHT currently employs 50 people making 800 different silicone polymer-based products, ranging from coffee cups to automotive components. But with business booming, the company found they were running out of space, limiting their abilities for ongoing production.

Anchor Construction has been hired to design and build a brand-new, 45,000-square foot facility to house CHT’s expanding business and product lines. This expansion will open the door to dozens of new jobs in the area, and Anchor is proud to be part of this next chapter.

Extensive projects such as this are not new to the Anchor team; our portfolio boasts an impressive selection of construction projects across many industries, ranging from manufacturing, corporate offices, and more. Our dedication and innovation have also earned us multiple awards, and we’re applying that same level of excellence to CHT’s build.

Since 2006, Anchor Construction has taken on projects from every construction phase, from conception to ribbon cutting. Our team of architects, engineers, and construction managers approach every new project with integrity, honesty, and hard work, and we’re excited to bring this latest endeavor to light.
